We live in a world where, on one hand, we see quotes like "Every body is a beach body" on a daily basis and people say, that there's no need to talk about body image and appearance in the 21st century anymore. On the other hand, everyone constantly comment on each other's appearance without being asked – be it via social media or in conversation.
For this project, I collected sentences that had been said to people, and made them into still-lifes. I wanted to show the absurdity of those sentences and make the viewer realize how silly it is to listen to someone else's opinion about their appearance.
